Massage is part of integrative medicine that can be very beneficial in reducing pain and stress. It can also increase an overall sense of well-being, range of motion and circulation.
Massage therapy is very useful in treating injuries, chronic pain, pre-surgery pain management, post-surgery recovery, and is an overall great addition to your self-care routine.

Meet Sam

I started my journey into massage therapy in 2007. I have spent all of my career focused on treating injuries and chronic pain conditions. My passion is working with people who are in chronic pain, feeling tired and stuck in their aching bodies, or dealing with an injury. I love helping these people get back to the activities they enjoy with reduced or no pain and freedom of movement. Working with clients to find the habits and activities that can be causing their pain is a big part of treating more than just the symptom. Learning what kind of self-care to incorporate into your lifestyle is essential to living an empowered life where you are in the driver’s seat, not your pain.

The foundation of my bodywork is Deep Tissue and Medical Massage techniques. As I work through the problematic areas of the body I integrate my knowledge of Trigger Point Therapy, Manual Ligament Therapy, Massage Cupping, and some myofascial work to release the tension and encourage normal function.

When I’m not at work, I love to be in nature! Some of my favorite things to do are camping, backpacking, hiking, archery, disk golf, foraging, exploring cool bike trails or just finding a peaceful walk through the forest. If I’m not outside, I can usually be found curled up with a blanket, a cup of tea, and a pile of books.
